The event will start with an introduction to the ongoing CLARITY project, a European project co-led by Lund University, One Resilient Earth, Climate Creativity, Legacy17, the Real School, and The Vision Works, in collaboration with the Learning Planet Institute and Hanze University of Applied Sciences. This project focuses on training Europe-based teachers and non-formal educators in Transformative Climate Resilience Education, as well as developing and disseminating pedagogical tools , so as to help children and youth shift from climate-anxiety to resilience, creativity, connection and regeneration.
We will share intermediate findings, and lessons learned from co-design activities with young people. We will discuss opportunities for engagement in future training sessions, as well as possible joint advocacy initiatives with participants. We will offer an opportunity to test one of our activities to soothe climate anxiety and restore wellbeing with learners. We will also discuss a long-term vision of shared efforts and engagement to make education more nourishing, creative, regenerative, in response to today's global challenges.
