We invite schools, students and everyone else interested to take part in the big Digital Clean-Up Week, taking place 26 January – 1 February 2026!
"Is your inbox overflowing with emails, newsletters and special offers? Are last summer’s hundreds of holiday photos still unsorted, forgotten apps piling up on your phone, and your cloud service asking you to buy more storage — sound familiar? All of this digital clutter adds up over time to a significant CO₂ footprint. Every piece of digital content consumes energy through the devices and systems that store, move and secure it. How many of those files, emails and accounts do you actually need and want to keep?"
By doing a digital clean-up, you’re not only helping the environment — you’re also making your digital life safer, reducing information overload and saving time in the long run. During the campaign, each weekday focuses on a specific theme, offering practical tips on where and how to clean up your digital world effectively.
