Accollab, an initiative founded by Pokpon Visahaphanit, aims to advance public health, environmental sustainability, and social equity by addressing the interconnected topics of pollution and human wellbeing. Using tools like live polling and idea collection, participants will share lived experiences, identify challenges within their communities regarding pollution, and co-create realistic, community-informed solutions that improve wellbeing without exacerbating disparities. The online activities emphasize accessibility, creativity, and inclusion, no prior expertise required, to ensure that everyone can contribute meaningfully in a low-pressure, interactive environment.
Drawing on Pokpon’s experience engaging in global climate and health dialogues at UN General Assembly Week and Climate Week events, supported by institutions such as Columbia University, UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network, and Learning Planet Institute, this workshop translates global policy insights into actionable, locally grounded change.
By centering community insight and experience, the initiative transforms global environmental priorities into practical, people-centered solutions that can be adapted across diverse contexts. Join us to activate the ecosystems of UNESCO, UN University and more to achieve this collective goal!
