During this presentation Dr Sharon Zivkovic will provide an overview of innate autistic thinking approaches including monotropic, bottom-up, associative and systemising thinking. She will then demonstrate how she has used these innate ways of autistic thinking to create a diverse range of social innovations including a community leadership program, a tool for tracking and measuring systems change, and a systemic innovation lab methodology. Finally she will discuss the need for autistic innovators to document their autistic creative process so that they can demonstrate the utility of autistic ways of thinking and prove ownership of their intellectual property. Sharon will share a template that can be used to assist autistic innovators with this documentation process.
