How about getting your pupils (age 6 to 12) involved in a challenge that combines EMC (Moral and civic education) and the visual arts? A challenge based on living together, commitment and group cohesion? A challenge that would culminate in the creation of a large-scale fresco on philanthropy… with a few surprises in store!
A 3-stage project:
– Introduce your pupils to the concepts of empathy and commitment.
– Choose an action verb that illustrates a philanthropic value.
– Represent this value through an artistic creation using objects.
Are you ready to take up this challenge with your pupils ?
To take up the challenge, check out the suggested timetable: https://www.calameo.com/read/005053473db3fa280aacd
Once your class has created its solidarity mascot, all you have to do is post a photo of it here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdOSKVc4gwQlXj1s2bRX7JaM2eFsCbRKHFRgry2iJEBWFt5BA/viewform
All the class creations will be brought together in a huge fresco of solidarity!
This project is run by Lea.fr and L’École de la philanthropie, in partnership with France générosités and with the support of Un Esprit de Famille.
