Together, they will discuss some of the pressing issues related to responsible business conduct in conflict-affected areas and the importance of educating future generations on these challenges.
The Business & Peace academy is a 3-week program for M1 students on the business-conflict-peace nexus.
The HEC Imagine program offers fellowships for students from conflict-affected countries and pedagogic activities for HEC Paris students on business, peace and human rights.
Olena Uvarova is a leading expert on business & human rights, chair of the International BHR Lab and associate professor at the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University (Kharkiv). She is also the co-president of the Global Business and Human Rights Scholars Association.
Vicky Bowman is a former diplomat, director of the Myanmar Centre for Responsible Business and senior adviser at the Institute for Human Rights and Business.
