In celebration of the International Day of Education 2026, Cognipath and its team, led by Ms. Jinghe (Amber) Shen, is hosting its global launch event. The event centers on putting children and youth at the heart of mental health system transformation – at a time when an estimated 1 in 7 young people aged 10–19 are living with a mental health condition.

The event will explore how meaningful youth participation can create more responsive, equitable, and empowering mental health policies and services in Canada and beyond. By engaging young people as co-designers, decision-makers, and advocates, we ensure that mental health systems reflect their developmental realities, cultural contexts, and lived experiences.

We welcome young leaders, practitioners, and policymakers who are redefining how care is delivered, accessed, and sustained to join this event. Through dialogue and collaboration, we will highlight best practices, cross-sector innovations, and evidence-based frameworks that treat youth not as passive recipients but as equal partners in shaping their mental well-being.

Together, we aim to build a future where every young person receives the necessary support towards a positive path towards cognitive growth.
