“Ecological Justice Brain” (or EJB) is the eye-catching name that our team at the Center for Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability has given to the comprehensive knowledge infrastructure that we are building with Kyolabs in Zurich and the Ecosystem Restoration Communities (ERC) in Amsterdam. Fairness, access, and agency have been the guiding considerations of the instrument we have designed to empower farming communities. We will integrate into a Knowledge Graph their claims for ecological justice with environmental, agricultural, taxonomic, and socio-cultural datasets. Our instrument for ecological justice will thus combine citizen science protocols and AI-powered inference tools. When completed, EJB will be submitted to the UNESCO BRIDGES Coalition for review and validation. We will present our instrument at the Learning Planet Festival and answer questions from participants.
