Action-Oriented Pedagogies (AOP, Weinberg et al., 2024), a pedagogical framework that responds to the urgent need for effective sustainability education in the modern day, supports educators in moving beyond traditional knowledge-centered instructional approaches towards more participatory and action-focused teaching and learning. This program will introduce the AOP model and explore ways that it has been put to use in local classrooms.
