In youth organisations, adults can either enable growth or unintentionally limit it. This session invites an open and honest discussion on the fine line between mentorship and control, and how organisational systems can genuinely support youth-led leadership while valuing experience.
Hosted by the Intergenerational Collaboration Project Team of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM), this co-creation space will explore power, trust, decision-making, and intergenerational dynamics. Participants’ insights will help shape practical guidance for stronger collaboration between young people and adults across global Scouting events and processes.
