Ziyue (Daniel) Shen believes in the strength of art in augmenting youth voices to confront environmental issues. His multi-year art-and-writing and videocast campaign at R.A.D culminated in his participation as an under-18 Youth Delegate at the 2025 United Nations High-level Political Forum. Now, Daniel is working with other youths, leaders, and youth-education institutions to co-design a reformed assessment mechanism of international competitions that’s more inclusive of youth perspectives.
