Wavinya Kavivya

Wavinya Kavivya is a social innovator and systems thinker working at the intersection of community knowledge, regenerative craft, and alternative education. Her work focuses on designing and nurturing systems that enable sustainable, locally grounded social, economic, and ecological change. She is the founder of Vinya Weaving Lab, where weaving is practiced both as a material craft and as a systems language for understanding interdependence, resilience, and collective care. Serves as Interim Director of the Open Portal Network at LO*OP Center, stewarding the revival of a global, community-led platform dedicated to ongoing dialogue, low-tech practice, and alternative pathways for social transformation.
