Susila Bhagavathula is a Ph.D. student in sustainability at Arizona State University’s School of Sustainability. Susila completed her Bachelor of Science in Geoecology at the University of Tübingen in Germany. She then continued with a Master of Science in Environmental Sciences focusing on environmental policy at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH Zurich). Susila’s research interests revolve around the intersection of sustainability, emergency management, and resilience, as well as capacity building and governance related to heat.
