Shane Zhang

Shane Zhang is a youth advocate passionate about protecting the environment and promoting safe outdoor recreation. He is currently a part of the cadets, where he has learned how to safely camp. He is also an avid skier, having obtained an instructors’ certification. Based on these experiences, he co-founded an organization with the aim of spreading a love for environmental awareness, outdoor activities, and promoting safety named Bond of Nature Association (BONA). The organization has held over 15 events, online and in person. Furthermore, he is undertaking high-level research into the area of eco-anxiety and coping mechanisms.
