Swathi Sundarraj is a disciple of Bhagavata Mela exponent Guru Kalaimamani Natya Kalanidhi Sri S Natarajan, and now Priyamvadha Murali at Bhagavata Mela Vidyalaya Melattur, India. She has a master´s degree in computer science, has worked as an assistant professor for the past 5 years, is learning Aari work hand embroidery, and is currently a dance teacher for rural children at Dr.V. Gengusamy Naidu Matriculation School. She is passionate about dance and believes it is a valuable tool for empowering the youth.
