Nicélia Santos is a Black quilombola woman from Northeast Brazil and a master’s student in the Graduate Program in Education and Diversity at UNEB (State University of Bahia). She is a professor at CETEP Chapada Diamantina II, a member of the DIFEBA Research Group, and an advocate for quality public education as a transformative tool for social change.
