Mônica Macedo-Rouet is a professor of educational psychology at CY Cergy Paris Université. Her research addresses the role of online reading and education in shaping youth and adult information literacy. She is currently an associate editor of the Journal for the Study of Education and Development. Previously, she has served as the editor of ComCiência, an online science communication magazine at the State University of Campinas (Brazil), and as a researcher at the National Center for Pedagogical Documentation (Canopé – French Ministry of Education, France) and Paris 8 university.
