Matthew Persky

Matthew Persky is a Learning Planet/UNESCO Youth Fellow, Teach the Future Young Voices Council member, Youth Empowerment Advocate, and ClimateTech Inventor.
At age 13, he was invited to speak at the 2024 United Nations General Assembly Action Days events, where he advocated for futures literacy education and empowering youth in policy-making.
He also helped Dr. Francois Taddei and Stefania Giannini of UNESCO, promote the Youth Design Challenge for youth to co-design the future of learning.
In sixth grade, Matthew and his brother Daniel founded an EdTech initiative, developed with Learning Planet and Ban Ki-moon Centre mentors to improve education access. Besides inventing ClimateTech system to predict and detect wildfires, protecting people and the planet, they founded The Equality Collective to distribute empowerment resources to underserved communities across six continents.
Matthew is passionate about empowering youth through education, advocacy, and policy to tackle global challenges and construct a sustainable future
