Marco Rieckman
Professor @ University of Vechta
Marco Rieckmann is a German scholar and internationally recognized expert in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and sustainability competencies. He is Professor of Higher Education Development and Sustainability at the University of Vechta (Germany) and has been deeply involved in advancing competency-based approaches to sustainability education in higher education.
His research focuses on key competencies for sustainability, transformative learning, curriculum development, and the role of universities in societal transformation.
