At just 18 years old, Maiwand has emerged as one of Ontario’s most inspiring young voices. A TEDx speaker with over 1.7K views on a platform with 44 million subscribers, he delivers powerful keynote talks across schools in Ontario, motivating students to embrace confidence, leadership, and the belief that their dreams are achievable. Maiwand is the Lions Public Speaking Provincial Champion and has been featured in both Newmarket and Aurora News for his achievements. He is also a first-year student in York University’s Biomedical Sciences program.
