Lik Man Owen Au

Lik Man Owen Au is a 16-year old advocate passionate in co-designing the future of healthcare, inspired by the film 3 Idiots, through addressing social determinants of health (SDOH) and health inequalities. He is conducting a narrative review on SDOH’s impact on atrial fibrillation, actively participating in his school’s Gifted and Talented program, and engaging with UN SDGs via multiple UN and Ivy League (Yale and Columbia) forums. Owen completed a hospital internship, deepening his understanding of healthcare systems and community needs. He aspires to educate youth on euthanasia and assisted dying, and one day become a compassionate doctor.
