Karimot Odebode

Karimot Odebode is a poet and advocate from Ibadan Nigeria. She is one of the 17 SDGs Young Leaders recognized by the UN. Karimot is the Founder & Project Lead at the Black Girl’s Dream Initiative where she works to end Female Genital Mutilation; promote Education and Gender Equality. Karimot is a graduate of Law from Obafemi Awolowo University. She has performed at several high-level meetings and uses her poetry to promote the SDGs and create a safe world for girls/women. She created the Transform Education anthem for the United Nation’s Girls Education Initiative
