Jo Cogan

Jo Cogan brings a deep passion for Classics to her work, grounded in a life-long love of learning. She read Greats at Oxford University, where she immersed herself in Latin and Ancient Greek literature, ancient history, and philosophy, and carried out postgraduate research in Character Education and Virtue Ethics. She is driven by the belief that classical languages, literature, and history should be accessible to all, seeing these subjects not only as inherently valuable but as gateways to understanding languages and cultures across ages. She is also a freelance writer on education and the humanities.
