Jim Rhoné is an architect, designer, and entrepreneur, passionate about biomimicry, nature-based solutions, and generative design. He holds a Master of Architecture from the National School of Architecture Paris-Malaquais (ENSAPM). With 8+ years’ experience in the Architecture-Engineering-Construction industry, he worked at Atelier Jean Nouvel, Trimble (formerly Gehry Technologies) and Besix as an architect specialized in Building Information Modeling, Design for Manufacturing and Assembly, robotic fabrication, parametric design and workflow automation. In 2018, he co-founded Soliquid, a startup specialized in large-scale concrete 3D printing for construction and ocean biodiversity protection applications. Jim joined Interstellar Lab in September 2020 and is VP Product. He leads products development, from concept to production and delivery, ensuring coordination between design, engineering and sciences teams and combines the use of advanced computational design methodologies with digital fabrication to execute company’s vision and make it a reality.
