Jamie N. Mikeska

Jamie Mikeska is a managing principal research scientist at the ETS Research Institute, specializing in science education. She earned her Ph.D. in curriculum, teaching, and educational policy from Michigan State University. Her research focuses on designing and validating assessments of science teachers’ content knowledge and instructional quality, as well as exploring AI to support teacher learning. She has led multiple NSF-funded projects and contributed to key journals, earning an Outstanding Reviewer award from the American Educational Research Journal. Dr. Mikeska also organized a 2018 conference on simulations in K-12 teacher education and helped plan the NSF DRK-12 2021 conference.
