Hammed Kayode Alabi is an edtech leader, TEDx speaker, poet, and social entrepreneur passionate about education and youth empowerment. Growing up in Makoko, Nigeria’s largest floating slum, he overcame significant challenges to transform young lives through education. He founded the Kayode Alabi Leadership and Career Initiative (KLCI), which has empowered over 9,000 underserved youth in Nigeria and Malawi with critical skills. Through Peace First, he has supported youth innovation globally and advocated for skills-based education at UNESCO. His edtech platform, Skill2Rural.Org, has trained 315 educators, benefiting 106,000 young Africans. Hammed holds an MSc from the University of Edinburgh.
