Giuseppe Ugazio
Associate Professor and Chair in Behavioural Philanthropy and Finance @ University of Geneva, Geneva Centre for Philanthropy
Graduate from the University of Zurich and Harvard University post-doctoral researcher, Associate Professor Ugazio holds two PhDs, one in Philosophy and the other in Neuroeconomics. He studies the neuro-psychological mechanisms that drive complex human social behaviours. Using interdisciplinary experimental methods he probes the affective, cognitive, and behavioural control mechanisms that support social decision-making. In particular, his research focuses on understanding how these decision mechanisms compete and interact to drive choices related to sacred moral values, honesty, and norm-compliance.
