Elena Joli
Physics teacher - science editor @ Istituto Tecnico Garibaldi da Vinci - Sapere scienza
I’m an italian theoretical physicist, I studied black holes at the University of Bologna and at École Normale Supérieure in Paris. I hold a Master in Science communication. I’m a Physics Professor at high school and I’m author of physics textbooks, digital materials and podcasts with educational purposes. I work as a science publishing editor and as a science communicator for the popular science magazine Sapere. In 2018, I took part to an international scientific mission to Antarctica about global environmental issues and climate change. My university education in an international work environment marked my approach to scientific issues, with a strong focus in theoretical modelling and, at the same time, an interest in the role of science communication.
