Dr. Kalaivani Chellappan

Dr. Kalaivani Chellappan is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Engineering & Built Environment, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, with over 28 years of experience in academia and industry. Specializing in Healthcare Engineering, her work spans Cardiovascular Engineering, IoT in Healthcare, and Digital Health Ecosystems. She is a passionate educator and mentor, dedicated to nurturing young talent and fostering interdisciplinary research. Her contributions include innovative solutions for STEM education, healthcare technology, and industrial automation. Dr. Kalaivani leads the Creative Novice Coder initiative under the PKAS research group, empowering youth with Industry 4.0 skills and cultivating technopreneurship through engaging, hands-on coding programs.
