Christen Parker-yarnal

Christen Parker-Yarnal is a dedicated educator with over 15 years of experience in teaching and child development. She has taught in both high schools and at the university level, with experience across diverse educational models, including Montessori and Reggio Emilia. Christen holds a BA in English from the University of Florida and a Master’s in Spanish from St. Louis University. Her post-graduate studies introduced her to progressive, research-based teaching methods, igniting her passion for the Sudbury model after reading Free to Learn by Dr. Peter Gray. In 2018, she founded the Miami Sudbury School.
