Azadeh Farajpour

Azadeh is the founder of the startup betterSoil to create healthy soils for sustainable and profitable farming practices, stabilising production while lowering costs. Growing up in a family of farmers in Iran, she has hands-on experience of farmer’s challenges in dry regions, hard economic conditions and under adverse effects of climate change. As the youngest member of the Club of Rome she is widely connected to scientists and decision makers in the field of systemic approaches for international cooperation and transformation.
