Aimee is a Kepler Program graduate of Southern New Hampshire University and is employed as a refugee college guidance counselor at the moment. She is dedicated in promoting gender equality, equal access to opportunities, and education for refugees especially the underprivileged group. In her current position, she supports women’s employment by mentoring and advising young women on academic achievement and employability. She helps female students to set employment goals for internships and after graduation, and advocating on their behalf. She took part in the annual CLCC meeting, which was organized by the UNHCR and Arizona State University and held in Copenhagen, Denmark, at the UN City. She became a new member of the Students Engagement Task Force (SETF) to assist in the creation of a strategy for student engagement and to promote youth participation in programs for connected higher education.
