Adnan Turan

Adnan Turan is a second-year Ph.D. student in Educational Policy and Evaluation program at Arizona State University. As a Kurdish whose family resettled in Turkey, his research focuses on refugee education in both formal and non-formal education contexts. Assimilation of refugees, decolonizing refugee education, and the role of NGOs in refugees’ assimilation are some of the research areas. He received his MA from the University of Minnesota and BA from Turkey in education.
