Founded by Arinsak Chaijindaratana, Rescovery was created as a youth-led platform to equip young people with the skills to design fair, conflict‑sensitive flood and resource policies that strengthen both local resilience and regional stability. Furthermore, it seeks to create cross‑generational and cross‑border teams that turn disaster risk reduction into a space for cooperation rather than competition over scarce resources. Finally, it aims to build a pipeline of youth leaders who can move fluently between community action, technical design, and international policy forums, especially where disasters, infrastructure, and conflict risks intersect. Rescovery is honored to host its global launch event at the Learning Planet Festival 2026, co-organized by UNESCO and UN University.
