The event, hosted by a LearningPlanet Youth Fellow Ms. Zoha Narmin, will be based on women in South Asia. From the inevitable stereotypes, to the discrimination, the situation for women in south asia is barely getting better. For us to make a change, we first need to understand and discuss the significant issues, and together find solutions for a just and equitable future.
There will be an overview and a discussion on gender equality and women rights in South Asia, including several topics such as :
1. employment
2. education
3. domestic situation
4. discrimination.
this will be followed by a fun quiz, to lighten up the mood, alongside an educative atmosphere.
