The Happy Schools initiative provides governments with a framework that can help make the happiness and well-being of the entire school community a key lever for better and wider learning experiences and outcomes. If schools are to be vectors for quality educational and life experiences, they need to be happy environments. However, sustaining such environments requires holistic approaches and responses. In this context, the Happy Schools framework comprises the below four pillars (people, process, place and principles) to help policymakers and school leaders break down its concept into four intertwined sets of criteria to be addressed from a system-wide perspective.
This event is an invite-only collaboration between the UNESCO Happy Schools team and the Youth team at LPI, with workshops with local schools.
