The event explores findings from a research project conducted in 2023 in collaboration between the World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE) and University of Illinois, Chicago (UIC) on the relation of teacher wellbeing to student wellbeing and learning. Complementing this work are rich perspectives derived from interviews conducted with educators and students in five countries: Australia, Canada, Colombia, India, and Qatar. This research sheds light on the critical link shaping the educational experiences of both educators and students, offering valuable insights and paving the way for future research directions. Speakers will share some of the results and policy recommendations from the study that can be of an interest to teachers, policymakers and others interested in this topic.
