Founded by Kaylee Zhu, Tech for Togetherness aims to harness psychology, technology, and social bonding to create healthier, more progressive communities worldwide. Its mission is to show that digital tools, when used responsibly, can strengthen wellbeing, combat misinformation, and foster inclusion. Activities include youth-led campaigns across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and live Zoom sessions to raise awareness about cyberbullying and promote balanced digital habits.Echoing the theme of UNESCO’s Education for All, the organization aims to develop a platform / app which will provide daily emotional check ins, reminders for off screen breaks, and positive reinforcement to encourage healthier routines. Beyond the digital space, youth leaders will be trained to host confidential circles in schools and communities, offering safe spaces to discuss stress, device fatigue, and peer support.Inspired by six months of collaboration with WHO and FAMSA on breast cancer awareness in Africa, and by UN WFF work with Let’s Go Compost, this initiative calls on youth globally to unite in advocacy, mentorship, and creative health awareness.
