Africa's education systems are at a pivotal point, facing challenges in access, quality, and relevance while preparing youth for a rapidly evolving, technology-driven, and sustainability-focused world. With over 60% of its population under 25, the need for education systems that align with socio-economic realities and global trends is urgent. Despite progress in enrollment, gaps in infrastructure, teacher training, and curricula persist. Emerging technologies remain underutilized due to limited access and digital literacy, while environmental vulnerabilities demand sustainability-focused education. This session provides a platform for African students to share insights and ideas on transforming education. Discussions will explore integrating technology, sustainability, and practical skills into curricula to meet Africa’s development needs. It aims to inspire reforms that empower students to address global challenges and thrive in diverse industries, setting the stage for a future were education drives Africa’s sustainable growth and prosperity.
