Patrick Farenga and Kenneth Danford are veterans of the unschooling approach and share their work to make this option more available to people around the world. Patrick has been working with Growing Without Schooling and Holt Associates since 1981, disseminating the ideas and books of unschooling pioneer John Holt.
Kenneth Danford is the co-founder of North Star: Self-Directed Learning for Teens, a center that makes unschooling possible for any interested teen in his local community. He is also the co-founder of Liberated Learners, a network of centers sharing this approach around the world.
Patrick and Kenneth will describe their journeys and share their thoughts and perspectives about offering this freedom to more young people around the world.
