This event is a personal and collective journey through trauma, resilience, and sustainable mobility, which affected me from personal experience life in Tunisia, and impacted me from Professional experience life in Houston, Texas, USA
As a Tunisian woman, social innovator, and aspiring entrepreneur, I share my lived experience with biking, including a personal biking trauma, and how reclaiming mobility became an act of healing, learning, and transformation, driven by my passion in education and the belief that every change start by learning , education is the foundation and the key to sustainability, not only a tool for knowledge, but an act of empowerment without nurturing that we can’t build sustainable future generation
Through storytelling, reflection, and final interactive dialogue, the session explores how cycling and sustainable mobility are not only technical solutions, but deeply human experiences that shape identity, cities, resilient communities, wellbeing, and belonging. Drawing inspiration from Houston as a successful and evolving model of sustainable mobility, and reimagining Tunis horizon in sustainable Mobility, does not merely inherit the world, but actively sustain it.
Participants will reflect on how cities, cultures, and education can sustain, inclusive, safe, and sustainable practices.
