In celebration of UNESCO’s International Day of Education, Girliftify presents a special charity screening of the movie Sunshine Girls Choir, bringing together artists, scholars, and thought leaders to explore the complexities of girlhood and womanhood.
Since its global debut at the UN Youth Forum 2025 in New York, founder Ariel Chen has been reimagining how arts and culture can illuminate the experiences, challenges, and aspirations of young women.
For this screening, Girliftify is proud to welcome Garden of Hope and Soroptimist International as guest speakers, offering insights into social, cultural, and educational perspectives on growing up female in today’s world.
The event aims to foster meaningful discussion and reflection, encouraging attendees to consider how storytelling, performance, and creative expression shape understanding of gender, identity, and empowerment.
Join us for an evening of film and conversation, where the narratives of girlhood and womanhood take center stage, inspiring reflection, dialogue, and new ways of seeing the world.
