At the Learning Planet Festival 2026, Future of Healthiness team, led by Ching Sum (Kristen) Wong, will unveil a 30-Day Youth Action Plan addressing education gaps around noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) in low-resource communities.
The event will showcase innovative, youth-led strategies combining health literacy, digital outreach, and local partnerships to strengthen community education on prevention and care. Participants presented scalable models integrating NCD awareness into school curricula, peer-led workshops, and mobile health campaigns – all using real world case studies as references.
Echoing the mission of UNESCO and UN University to better balance planetary and people health, the session will emphasize equitable access to information, intergenerational collaboration, and sustainable impact through youth empowerment. Join us to affirm our commitment to implementing the plan to advance SDG 3.4 on reducing premature mortality from NCDs through global youth action.
