In this partly experiential workshop we shall experiment with “the seventh generation exercise” one of the tools from “The work that reconnects” from our ancestor Joanna Macy and her friend, coach Jess Serrante.
We shall alternate roles, between an ancestor meeting a great-great-great grand child 200 years from now and the child. We shall reflect together on our feelings during the exercise and on the legacy we would like to leave behind/receive with gratitude.
The exercise will be integrated in the 2026 version of “Miniatures of evolution” a series of webinars online for transformative learning in the ecological crisis stemming from TAE (Thinking at the Edge) by philosopher Eugene T. Gendlin (https://focusing.org/). The workshop will also launch the next edition of the learning program and present a playful and engaging introduction to TAE.
