From Bangladesh, one of the countries most affected by climate change, Friendship NGO is empowering the most isolated communities through innovative solutions, giving them hope and dignity.
To empower young people, Friendship has created primary and secondary education programs, and is using digital technology to connect them to the rest of the world.
Since 2021, the Inter-School Connectivity Project connects students from Bangladesh, France, Luxembourg and Switzerland, to exchange on climate change and innovative solutions. Facilitating cross-cultured dialogue, it is a great example of the pivotal role played by digital connectivity in the global fight against climate change. By fostering connections among students from diverse cultural and environmental backgrounds, it offers a fresh perspective, empowering them to take proactive measures and emerge as advocates for climate action.
We invite you to join us in a discussion on the transformative impact of digital connectivity in the battle against climate change. Featuring testimonies from students, educational experts, representatives from the Ministry of Education and MALALA Fund, we will delve into how digital tools can enhance the value of local knowledge while also addressing the challenges associated with their use in education.
