Led by youth advocate Ms. Yue Shan Erin Xuan, this UNESCO youth event is to empower young people to understand and transform how feelings of hopelessness shape vulnerability to misinformation and conspiracy beliefs. Through interdisciplinary youth research and participatory dialogue, we explore the psychological, social, and cultural roots of distrust and disconnection in the digital age.
Building on her personal experience, Erin has launched Resonic – integrating the concepts of Resilience, Resonanace and Harmonic, to guide youth globally to build on insights from cognitive psychology, media literacy, and community care. Leveraging on the ecosystems of UN University and Learning Planet Institute, the event will showcase resilience workshops and peer-led learning spaces that strengthen critical thinking, emotional well-being, and social belonging.
Join us at Learning Planet Festival 2026 to to bridge scientific understanding with compassionate action. Together, we can cultivate a generation of youth who can navigate uncertainty with confidence, empathy, and collective purpose.
