Targeted towards young artists across British Columbia, ages 13-20, Artlift is a nonprofit initiative born out of a simple but powerful idea: to uplift, inspire, and connect student artists and content creators in our community who may lack engagement, connection, opportunity and motivation. Artlift recognizes the immense talent that exists among young people in Surrey, Vancouver, and throughout the Lower Mainland. Talent is not a natural gift, but based on the efforts of the individual. Such talent can thrive when nurtured by a strong, supportive community.
Artlift stands apart because it focuses on building genuine connections through an accessible online platform that is deeply embedded in the local art scene. Unlike non-profits that solely host events reaching out into the community, we offer direct benefits for the artists themselves FIRST by bringing Surrey/Vancouver art-interested students together on one collective platform where they can socialize, inspire, and uplift each other. We are more than just an organization that runs events for the community; we offer an ONLINE space where young artists come first—a collective where Surrey and Vancouver's young creators can socialize, inspire, and uplift one another.
