Across Borders, Into Research is a 40-minute event featuring two doctoral candidates from the MSCA PARTICIPATE Horizon project. Through a peer-to-peer conversation, they share what it takes to pursue a PhD abroad: the choices that led them into research, the obstacles they faced, the support that helped them progress, and how they keep cultural connections alive while building an international career.
The session is framed around a simple theme: why does a learning planet need young researchers, and how do we make research pathways visible and realistic for young people beyond Europe? The discussion closes with audience Q&A focused on practical next steps for students considering a research career.
