“Yu Tang (Milo) Shan, based in South Africa, had grown up with a fiery will to help the community around him. Through his various travels and experiences, his determination has only solidified.
Both Milo’s interest in STEM and desire to make a difference has stayed with him throughout his school career. His endless curiosity allows him to fully apply himself to every subject he took at school, achieving an average mark of 91% for his AS-level year. Not satisfied to be within the confines of his classroom, Milo looks for any opportunity to further pursue his interests, becoming the captain of Team South Africa in the International Young Physicists Tournament and winning the Eskom Expo, the most prestigious science fair in the country.
What Milo desires most, however, is to make a lasting impact with his abilities and connections. ”
