Professor Vijaya Bhaskar Marisetty is the Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Chair Professor at the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam , where he also serves as Dean (Academics). His research focuses on fintech, financial inclusion, emerging markets corporate finance, and the innovative use of technology to empower underserved populations. He has published extensively in top-ranked journals and received multiple research awards and grants from premier institutions including the Reserve Bank of India and the Government of India. His work on blockchain and citizen science was recognized as a Top 100 Global Innovation Pioneer at the G20 Digital Alliance Summit.
